Neuadd Fawr means Great Hall. It was formally known as the Black Lion and owned and run by Jane Thomas who sold it to W. Cambell Davys of Neuadd Fawr in 1855.
Cambell Davys, then rebuilt the inn and it was later renamed Neuadd Fawr Arms.
