Brechfa Forest
If you crave a fresh air experience in landscape that is diverse and varied, then put on your walking boots and explore the Brechfa forest. With its dramatic views and deeply cut river valleys, together with the fact that the area is free from any livestock, the Brechfa forest in Carmarthenshire’s rural central region offers superb dog walking opportunities. Nearby Abergorlech also has some great dog friendly walks.

Dinas Reserve & Twm Sion Cati cave walk
Dinas Nature Reserve has a lovely circular walk among the waterfalls of the upper Towy valley. Run by the RSPB it’s a fantastic place for birdwatchers and seems also Welsh fugitives. Legend has it that Two Sion Cati, Welsh outlaw, hid in the caves here. There’s also a Red Kite feeding station nearby.
